Blade & Butler professionally sharpens and repairs virtually every type of kitchen knife, from everyday household knives to premium Japanese and European blades. 

We regularly sharpen Global, Wüsthof, Zwilling, Henckels, Victorinox, Sabatier, Shun, Miyabi and many other leading knife brands. Our service covers chef's knives, Santoku knives, utility and paring knives, carving knives, cleavers and serrated bread knives, as well as damaged blades requiring tip repair, chip removal or edge restoration. 

Different knives require different approaches to sharpening, and our service draws upon more than a century of knife knowledge to restore an appropriate sharp, durable and usable edge.

We also sharpen serrated bread knives, cleavers, serrated steak knives, regular house hold scissors, single bevel Japanese blades, Damascus steel knives, hunting knives, pen knives, table knives and high end hand forged knives at no extra cost. 

In order for knives to fit inside our mailing boxes, knives must not be over 470mm from blade tip to end of handle, more than 32mm in depth and the blade should not be wider than 100mm. 

This size range means that we can accommodate 99.9 % of all knives.  

We do not repair handles, sharpen pinking scissors, cut throat razors, any blades that are illegal in the UK, electric bread knife blades, tailor shears, fabric scissors, hair dressing scissors, shears, DIY or garden tools, food processor blades, farrier hooks or blades, ceramic or plastic bladed knives, messaluna's, meat cleavers wider than 150mm, chisels, nail clippers, guillotines or animal grooming blades.
