Blade & Butler we are experts at Global™ knife repair,sharpening ,restoration and re serration.

Global™ knives are by far the most common knife we receive at our workshops and we have in depth knowledge and familiarity of each range and model.

We sharpen to Global’s recommended angles.

We sharpen single bevel Globals on one side only as the manufacturer intended.

We also fully re serrate Global bread knives by request free of charge, please see below example of a Global G-9 half way through the process.

All damage to the cutting edge and tip of the blade is repaired at no extra cost and is included in our standard service tariff. Miss aligned profiles are also corrected in line with our 360° care plan. See image below.

We can remove red surface rust from the knife blade but we cannot remove pit rust. Pit rust is a common issue with Global knives and resembles black heads or pimples in the blade. See image below.

Pit rusting or general rusting at the weld join between blade and handle is a common fault with Global knives and can lead to sudden breaks. We recommend Global knives be hand dried immediately after use. They should not be allowed to air dry or be dish washered.

We also totally remove scratches from Global knives ( see image below ) but this can also remove the Global™ logo depending on where your scratches are.
