Yaxell knives.

Yaxell produce high-quality Japanese knives, often featuring beautiful Damascus finishes with harder than average Japanese steels in a western influenced design.

Generally, we find the blade geometry very good which is a feature of their pressed and stamped manufacturing. They sharpen exceptionally well and are capable of taking a superb cutting edge, although, as with many harder Japanese knives, the fine edges need to be treated with some care to avoid chipping.
